Obituary
Ashanti Fernandes Figueroa, age 37, of Houlton, ME, passed away suddenly on December 13, 2022. She was the wife of the late Jose Figueroa.
Born in Boston, Ashanti was the daughter of Gail A. (West) Fernandes and Lawrence J. Fernandes.
In addition to her mother, Gail (Larry Casey), Ashanti is lovingly survived by her siblings: Christopher West and Kianna Fernandes, both of Arlington, Johara Fernandes, Santos Suarez III, Aidan Anthony Fernandes Saez, Sinise Colon, and Omarra Roselye Dubon, all of Chelsea, and two stepsons, Jose Frechette Figueroa and Antonio Frechette Figueroa. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a Memorial Visitation at Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Saturday, January 7 from 1-4PM. A Celebration of Life will follow from 5-8PM at the Best Western Hotel, 1 Rainin Rd., Woburn.
