Obituary
Dean Blanchard, Jr., age 87, these last few years of Brooklyn CT, passed away June 8, 2017 peacefully at the University of Massachusetts Hospital in Worcester, MA after a brief illness, surrounded by his daughter and grandchildren. Dean was born in Winchester, Massachusetts on September 2, 1929, one of five children to Dean and Esther (Parshley) Blanchard.
Dean is survived by his sisters, Esther and Carolyn; his daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Denis; his granddaughter Althea; grandson David and his wife Danielle and two great grandchildren, Elias and Leo; and grandson Curtis and his fiance Sarah; and many nephews and nieces and extended family. He was predeceased by his wife, Janet (Wiklund) Blanchard in 2011, and his daughter, Linda (Blanchard) Brando in 1998.
A Graveside Service will be held at Wildwood Cemetery, 34 Palmer St., in Winchester, Massachusetts on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the Audubon Society, location of your choice.
