Donna E. (Peterson) Osborne, age 78, of Danvers, formerly of Newbury and Winchester, passed away on September 30, 2026. She was the beloved wife for 58 years of Steven B. Osborne.

Born in Winchester, Donna was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (O’Connell) Peterson. She was raised in Winchester, MA, and graduated from Winchester High School, class of 1966.

Donna raised her family in Winchester, MA, and enjoyed a career in banking. Upon retirement, she and Steve built a house and moved to Plum Island, where they lived for over 25 years before settling in Danvers a year ago.

In retirement, Donna cherished her time on Plum Island painting, golfing, and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Steve, Donna is lovingly remembered by her children: Christine Osborne and her husband, Joarez Hartmann, of Burlington; Steven Osborne, Jr. and his wife, Ann, of Winchester; and John Osborne and his wife, Anne, of Winchester. She was the beloved Grammy to Ashley, Steven, Julian, Amelia, and Sienna.

She was the dear sister of Robert Peterson of Newbury, MA, Jean Noonan of Stoneham, MA, and Eric Peterson of Merrimac, MA, and leaves behind many brothers-and-sisters-in-law, as well as nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Ould Newbury Golf Club, 319 Newburyport Turnpike (Rt. 1), Newbury, MA on Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 3-6 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
