Obituary
Edward T. Maguire, age 84, a longtime resident of Winchester, passed away on December 2, 2021. He was the husband of Patricia K. (Moran) Maguire.Born in Boston, Ed was the son of the late Charles F and Barbara B. (Adius) Maguire. He was raised and educated in Brighton and graduated from Brighton High School in 1957. Ed attended Northeastern University where he received a BS in Management Information Systems. He then went onto Bentley College and received his M.S. in Accounting, and went on further to earn his. MBA from Babson University. He enlisted in U.S. Air Force and served during the Berlin Wall Crisis.
He was employed for many years as an Information Systems Audit and Fraud Manager. He was a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor and a Certified Fraud Examiner. In his spare time, Ed enjoyed gardening and surf casting.
In addition to his wife, Patricia, Ed is survived by his daughter, Maureen Tumbleton of Hopkinton. He was also the grandfather of Autumn and Chloe Tumbleton, and brother of the late Charles F. Maguire. Funeral Services are private.
