Obituary
BENSON, Eric V. (Rick) - 78, of Winchester, Monday, May 10, 2010. Beloved husband of 53 years to Vivan R. (Ericson) Benson. Loving father of Eric S. and his wife Gloria of Stafford, VA, Timothy A. and his wife Jennifer of Bedford, MA, Col. Peter J. and his wife Peggy of Southern Pines, NC, and Lori Rasmussen of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Devoted grandfather of Annika, Christina and Peter, Kirsten, Anders and Erik, and Holly and Cameron. Eric was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Air Force and a longtime employee of Polaroid Corporation. He served on many charitable and public service boards and committees. Visiting hours Sunday, May 16th from 4-7 pm at Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester. Funeral Monday, May 17th, 11:00 am, Faith Lutheran Church, 311 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02139. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.
