Obituary
Eugene Ramirez, age 50, of Somerville, passed away at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston on January 11, 2010 after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Lauren LaRosa. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, Eugene was the son of Maria (Badillo) and the late Joseph Ramirez. He was formerly employed as an Occupational Therapist at the Coolidge House in Boston. In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Ramirez is survived by his two sisters: Meri Ebertz of NY and Millie Ramirez of FL. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2009 at the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, from 2-5 PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eugene's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720. Late Veteran U.S. Coast Guard.
