Obituary
Helen Rita (Troisi) Colleran, 84, of Winchester, passed away at her home on June 6, 2006. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Rose (DeLuca) Troisi. A resident of Winchester for over 40 years and daily communicant of St. Mary's Church, she was the wife of the late John Joseph Colleran.
Helen was a tax auditor for the Internal Revenue Service for over 42 years, and in her spare time enjoyed golfing and gardening. She was a member of the Winchester Garden Club, the Belmont Women's Club, and the Women's Golf League at the Woburn Country Club.
She leaves behind her son, Paul and his wife Kristen Kenney of Weston. She was the sister of Yola Buttimer and Minnie Hernon, both of Winchester, Gilda Pearce of Gladwyne, PA and the late Carl Troisi and Florence DeGuglielmo. She was also the dear grandmother of Kendall Grace Colleran and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Helen's Funeral will be held from the Costello Funeral Home 177 Washington St. Winchester on Mon., June 12 @ 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church of Winchester at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours Sunday 4 -7 pm.
