Obituary
Janet Jamison Nelson, 89, a long-time resident of Winchester, formerly of Osterville, passed away at the Aberjona Nursing Center in Winchester on October 8, 2010. Born in Greensburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Marion and Cecilia (Rayburn) Jamison. A homemaker, Mrs. Nelson was devoted to her children and their activities in Winchester. She taught Sunday School at the First Congregational Church in Winchester and was often a volunteer at the refreshment stands at the little league fields there. A member of the Winchester Country Club, Janet was also a volunteer at Winchester Hospital and a member of the Winchester Home and Garden Club.
She was the wife of the late Paul W. Nelson and the loving mother of Susan J. Lewis of Winchester, Charles J. Lewis of ME and the late Harold S. "Chip" Lewis, Jr. Janet was also the dear sister of the late Charles M. and James R. Jamison, the devoted grandmother of Emily S. Lewis-Belitrandi of Milan, Italy and Daisy J. Lewis of Coconut Grove, FL, and great-grandmother of Sebastian J., A.J., and Fabian Belitrandi. Funeral Services were private.
