Obituary
John W. MacArthur, age 67, of Winchester, passed away on December 17, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Linda S. (Hayes) MacArthur, and the loving father of Shelley MacArthur Smyth and husband Brendan of Winchester, and Sarah Elizabeth Reilly and husband Joseph of Charlottesville, VA. He was also the dear brother of Brian P. MacArthur and wife Margot of S. Natick and the late Janice Kavanagh and husband L. Brant, and the devoted grandfather of Declan, Christian, Quinn and Madeleine Smyth and Oliver Reilly. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather at the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Sunday, Dec. 21 from 2:00-5:00 PM and again on Monday at 9:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Eulalia's Church 50 Ridge St. at 10:00 AM. Interment Shawsheen Cemetery, Bedford. In lieu of flowers donations in John's memory may be made to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, Gift Processing Administrator, 18251 Quantico Gateway Drive, Triangle, VA 22172. Late veteran U.S. Marine Reserve.
