Obituary
Attorney Margot Ames Clower, age 80, of Winchester, Massachusetts, on December 15, 2019. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Dr. Elizabeth Dean-Clower, and her son Robert C. Clower and his wife Christine, and a devoted grandmother to her three granddaughters, Katie, Chelsea, and Alli Clower.
She is also survived by her twin sister, Karen Dean-Smith, as well as nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins, many colleagues, and several close friends.
Margot was a graduate of Girls' Latin School, Radcliffe College of Harvard University, and Suffolk University School of Law. She was a dedicated and award-winning lawyer, specializing in probate and family law, and her considerable legal acumen and involvement in significant appellate cases led to transformative changes in the law.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather at Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St. Winchester on Friday, December 20th from 4-7PM, and again on Saturday, at 9AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Eulalia's Church, 50 Ridge St., Winchester, at 10AM. There will be a private burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund or to the Accelerated Cure Project for MS.
