Obituary

Marilyn R. (Casalinuovo) LaRue, age 88, of Woburn, passed away on February 25, 2026. She was the beloved wife for over 65 years of Robert LaRue.

Marilyn worked as an executive secretary at Winchester Hospital for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed vacationing on cruise ships and dining out at her favorite local establishments. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Bob, Marilyn is lovingly survived by her children, Paula Matthews and her husband James, and Michael LaRue, all of Woburn. She was the cherished grandmother of James Matthews, Jr. and his wife Kathryn, Kristen Matatall and her husband Terence, the great-grandmother of Allison & Caroline Matthews and Declan Matatall, and also leaves behind her two brothers, Richard Casalinuovo and his wife Ellen, of Winchester, and Michael Casalinuovo of Billerica.
