Pauline Rose (Airey) Paha, age 58, a lifelong resident of Winchester, passed away on March 30, 2016. She was the beloved mother of Jay Wightman of Peabody and Joseph Paha of Winchester.
Born in Winchester, Pauline was the daughter of John M. and Rose A. (Capone) Airey. She was raised in Winchester and was a graduate of Winchester High School. Pauline was a store manager for several years. In her spare time, she enjoyed drawing, particularly caricatures. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and will be remembered for her generosity and kindness, and also for her spunk, as she was known as a joker and sometime prankster.
In addition to her sons, she is survived by her parents; John M. and Rose A. (Capone) Airey of Winchester. She was the dear sister of Judy Lilley and her husband Steven of Woburn, Ed Airey and wife Noreen of Ossipee, NH, Brenda Rodriguez and husband Julio of Winchester, Daniel Airey and wife Ullie of Woburn, Rebecca DiFronzo and husband Butch of Pittsfield, NH. She was also the grandmother of Abigail and Luke Wightman, and is further survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting Hours will be held in the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Sat., April 2, from 9:30-11:30AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Winchester.
