Phyllis Ann Carrier, 83, of Glastonbury, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026 in Lexington, MA.

Born on April 30, 1942, in Waterbury, Connecticut, to Charles F. Crepon and Aletha M. Hubbell, Phyllis grew up in Manchester, CT where she attended Manchester High School before going on to study at Colby Sawyer College in New Hampshire.

Phyllis devoted her early years to raising her three children in Manchester, pouring her heart into her family and creating a home full of love. Later in life, she worked as a paraprofessional at Ernst & Young. She then worked in Accounting at Crump Reinsurance and The 100 Club of Glastonbury. She also served her community with pride as a Justice of the Peace in Glastonbury, where she spent the last 30 years of her life.

She had a lifelong passion for fitness — she could be found at the gym lifting weights, or taking a spin class. She would power through a walk with quiet determination. She also loved the outdoors and enjoyed a good hike, cross-country skiing and snow shoeing. The beach called to her always, and a good book was never far from her hands. Above all, she treasured every moment spent with her children and grandsons, who were the joy and pride of her life.

Phyllis is survived by her three children, Donna (Carrier) Troiano and her husband Anthony of Winchester, Massachusetts; Shelly (Carrier) Antinelli and her husband Stephen of Manhattan, Montana; and Michael Carrier and his wife Erika Berglund of Durango, Colorado. She is also lovingly survived by her six grandsons, Anthony, Andrew, Nicholas, Jake, Alex, and Benjamin. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

In memory of Phyllis, the family requests that all donations be made to the Appalachian Mountain Club, 10 City Square, Boston, MA 02129 or via their website: https://www.outdoors.org/donate/tribute-gifts/
