Obituary
Richard C. Powers, of Wareham, formerly of Winchester, June 1, 2010. Beloved husband of Mary T. (Monagle). Loving father of Richard Powers, Jr. and his wife Cathy of N. Reading, Julie Powers of Monson, MA, Cynthia Foscarota and her husband Ray of Wareham, Marilyn Powers of Reading, Stephen Powers of Medford and the late Diane Powers. Dear brother of the late Ruth Nilsen, John Powers, Francis Powers, Irene Furtaw, Margaret Nowell, and Robert Powers. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Fri., June 4 at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester at 10AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held in the funeral home Thurs. 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Assoc. 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Late Veteran U.S. Army WWII.
