Obituary
Theodore Paul Heuchling died peacefully in his home on December 23rd, 2017 in Winchester, Massachusetts at the age of 92. Ted is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia; children, Donna, Ted, and Paul Heuchling and Claire, Ann, and Clifford Lyon. He is preceded in death by his first wife Mildred "Cappy" Heuchling. Ted was born on June 24th, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois to Fred and Mabel Heuchling. He graduated from MIT in 1948 with a master's degree in electrical engineering. He married Mildred Capodilupo in 1949, and had 3 children. In 1977, Ted married his second wife Patricia, and welcomed 3 more children into his family. Ted began his career at Arthur D. Little, where spent 30 years, retiring as a senior vice president. His children remember him as a caring father who loved sailing, skiing, and spending time with his family. He was an active and dedicated member of Sacred Heart Church in Lexington.
Visiting hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 29th at Sacred Heart Church, 16 Follen Road, Lexington; a Funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday, December 30th, 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, the burial will follow at Wildwood cemetery in Winchester. A reception will be held at the church hall. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ted's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the MSPCC.
